Push and Pull Straight-line Action Series
Features and applications
The straight line action series toggle clamps are converting the circular movement of the control lever into a linear movement of the rod. The main feature of this series is its low force application point as well as the very reduced encumbrance in the vertical. Thanks to the strong structure of the clamps it is perfect in situations where high clamping forces are needed.
This model works by pushing (Form ASS) or pulling (Form ASD) and meets clamping requirements from 90 to 450 daN. The handle of the clamp locks in two opposite positions.
A special grease is placed between two contacting surfaces during assembly.
Fields of application: woodworking, welding, plastic injection molding, CNC machining, various types of assembly, automotive industry, engineering.
Material: Galvanized steel
Riveted pivots, push bar and control lever: Galvanized steel
Basic clamp body: Black varnished brass for size 70; hot forged steel and painted black for the other sizes.
Handles: Red polyurethane - resistant to oils, grease and other chemical agents.
Performance:
ASD Form traction clamping (pulling) with anti-clockwise control lever rotation traction clamping with clockwise control lever rotation;
ASS Form push clamping with clockwise control lever rotation traction clamping with anti-clockwise control lever rotation.
